Kaduna Mining Development Company (KMDC) is a profit-making organization of Kaduna State Government with its autonomy to run independently as an entity established to unlock the significant mineral wealth within the state. In recognizing the immense potential of its mineral resources in the state, the aim of transforming the mining sector into a key driver of economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development becomes a top priority.

Kaduna Mining Development Company Limited was established in 2015 as a Special Purpose Vehicle to facilitate the development of the abundant mineral resources in the State. The Company’s major focus is lay solid foundation for making Kaduna State a Key Player in the Mining industry thereby benefiting from revenue accruable there from. In pursuance of its goal, KMDC has acquired over thirty different Mineral titles on different mineral types across the State; this is with a view to capture the most important types of Minerals in the State for exploitation in partnership with reputable local and foreign private investors.

With CAC registration RC1241916, KMDC is a Nigerian company, being state owned company the government in response to development needs of Kaduna state and Nigeria at large. In line with Global Standards in the industry. By building partnerships and alliances, it enhances local capacities, advocates for Green Energy and pro- Climate Smart Mining Readiness program through DE carbonization, Resilience, Circular economy and market opportunities. We advocate for legislation that support basic needs that addresses the challenges of livelihood, health and education through by ensuring our Community Development Agreement supports basic services. KMDC has worked carried projects across the 23 local Government of the State all over the affected communities with their target beneficiaries in Kaduna State.
